...sideways from time to time. Not over the little dog's head so cleaning up won't be as bad as last week's snow, but it's going to take special clothes to keep from freezing when I take him out more formally. He went out earlier as I insisted, though not with a lot of cheer.

We managed a walk yesterday, but he and I have both reached the age where if we don't keep moving, we find it harder to get back into a routine.

The winter storm warning is now upgraded to blizzard warning, not that we're getting as much snow as last week; we're getting winds that will pick it up and put it in heaps. Gusts up to 35 mph. This will keep snow from building up on branches except where it's already built up on branches from last week.

Should be over by 7 p.m.
